The Heat Conduction Pad moulds around the surface of the hard drive and reduces the risk of thermally damaging air pockets or gaps between the Hard Drive cooler and the hard drive. Using the Heat Conduction Pad with the Hard Drive Cooler reduces the heat up to 15%!
