The BP-WTP-C05 is an adapter. It converts from 1/4" NPSM, short for American Standard Straight Mechanical Pipe Thread, to 1/4" G or BSPP, short for British Standard Pipe Thread Parallel. This allows users users to integrate standard G/BSPP 1/4" fittings with any device that utilized this thread standard. A thicker style integrated o-ring is standard and insures for a leak-free seal.
