Since Delta released
GFB series parts back in 2001, we have had requests from many customers for the
turbine-inspired GFB1212VHW. This dual motor 76 millimeter thick fan spits out
just as much as
TFB1212GHE with up to SIX dB less (2x quieter), producing the most efficient
CFM to Decibel ratio of airflow on the market. Two sets of wires come standard
on GFB series parts to power both fan motors, one at 3200 RPM and one at 3550.
Our model is -F00 and features tachometer monitoring on each fan motor. As for
weight, the GFB1212VHW only weighs 570 grams (~ 1.25 lbs). Users installing this
part on any 120mm heatsink should still take additional measures to ensure the
assembly is not top heavy. Furthermore, we stress to consumers to not activate
this fan to "see" it unless its securely mounted or at least proper safety
measures are in place (i.e. fan guards)
