This special set of four
bolts (with philips head), and four short springs, was originally intended for
use with a special OEM CPU Cooler. The cooler had both Am2 and Socket 775
capabilities. The springs are shorter than our standard LGA 775 bolt through
kit. These bolts and screws may have other applications that we are not aware
of.
This kit is similar to our
version 2 kit with one exception - there are four slots that hold these screws
onto a top hold down plate/bracket. Each C-Clip snaps into the slot after it is
installed to keep it in place.
For your safety, a pair of
goggles is recommended when you squeeze the C-Clip onto the bolt. A mis-squeeze
can send the clip flying.
