Secure Ordering

Sidewinder Computers uses industry-standard SSL encryption for all orders. When you enter your credit card number into our order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted, or scrambled, form, and is then decoded when we receive it. For more information on security, click here. All credit card numbers are automatically purged by Yahoo! Store 30 days from the time you order with us. 

Every domestic U.S. order shipped includes an invoice attachment for your records. If you do not wish to receive an invoice, simply make a note in the comments field when you check out and it will not be included. Invoices which are not included are destroyed by a Fellow's crosscut shredder. 

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We will never under any circumstance share customer information with, or sell it to, unauthorized individuals or companies. Please read our web host’s privacy policy here. The information we obtain from you during your visit to our site and the information you give, such as your credit card number and contact information, is provided to our merchant only to process your order.

International customers outside of the United States and Canada only - your information is provided to a third party verification service which helps us determine the validity of orders outside of the United States and Canada. For cardholder security, you may be contacted to verify your order. 

Third-Party Web Beacons: We use third-party web beacons from Yahoo! to help analyze where visitors go and what they do while visiting our website. Yahoo! may also use anonymous information about your visits to this and other websites in order to improve its products and services and provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Payment & Shipping

Sidewinder Computers accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. We also accept online payment via PayPal, as well as money orders and cashiers checks (contact us for this method). The address we are shipping to must be present on the card. For international customers, please indicate the Bank name and Bank phone # in the appropriate fields when checking out. If the product you ordered is out of stock, per Credit Card regulations, your card will not be charged until the product ships. Indiana residents, add 7 percent sales tax.

All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). For domestic U.S. and Canada customers, there is no handling fee, packaging fee, or any hidden fees. Our website shipping tables are calculated for exact shipping costs by weight. We make every attempt to ship in-stock orders placed before 5 p.m. ET (22:00 GMT) the same business day. Shipping rates are calculated in real time based on the package’s weight. If shipping costs exceed our original estimate, we may ask for, via telephone or email, your permission to increase shipping charges prior to charging your card. If the actual shipping costs are less than expected, we pass the savings along to you, and we will notify you via email of the lower cost. International Order Shipping Methods

1. Express Mail International - All international credit card orders must use this method. Express Mail International is a reliable, high-speed mail service available to over 190 countries. Your order is delivered in 3-5 business days to major destinations, is insured for free up to $100, and features a tracking number. Your order will ship within 24 hours. Indicate any special requests in the "comments" field at checkout. You will receive an email when your order is placed, and again when it ships. Express Mail International has an arrival time Service guarantee to Australia, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.

2. Priority Mail International - Delivered in 6-10 days. Features tracking number to major destinations and an "automatic" insured amount, usually around $40-60 USD. Your order will ship within 24 hours. Indicate any special requests in the "comments" field at checkout. You will receive an email when your order is placed, and again when it ships.

3. UPS worldwide Express (saver) - Delivered in 3-5 days, available to select locations only. (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia)

First Class International has been removed, indefinitely, due to customers from claiming non-receipt of packages using this shipping method.

Return Policy 

Nondefective Merchandise
Sidewinder Computers offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, with a 15 percent restocking fee, on most of the products we sell. For any reason, you may return your purchase for a full refund of the purchase price less applicable restocking fees and original shipping costs, but only during the first 30 days of the shipping date. We do not accept returns for refund on the following items: Complete Liquid Cooling kits, opened box Heatsinks or Watercooling products, Tubing, or any blister packaged/sealed products. 

Our restocking fee applies to all non-defective, returned items -- no exceptions. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Products must be returned in original, unopened and undamaged, resellable condition with all included accessories, packaging and documentation. For example, if you purchased from us a waterblock or a heatsink, and opened the packaging, or installed it, or touched it, or exposed the copper to open air where it can oxidize quickly, any or all of the above, we will not accept your return due to the product being non-resellable. 

Exchanges
We do not cross-ship merchandise nor offer exchanges. Please re-order the correct part through our web site.

Warranty
Sidewinder Computers offers a 60-day warranty on all our products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship -- and will be replaced without question -- within the first 60 days of the shipping date, provided the product has not been subject to abuse, misuse, neglect or physical damage. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Please contact the manufacturer directly after this period.

Defective Merchandise
If ever you receive a defective product, please contact us as soon as possible for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may email us at sales@sidewindercomputers.com to obtain authorization. We accept no returns without a valid RMA number. RMAs are valid for 10 days from the issue date.

Order Cancellations
For order cancellations, please email sales@sidewindercomputers.com as soon as possible after placing your order with the word "Cancel" in the subject line of your email. If your order has been shipped, you may refuse the package upon delivery. A credit will be issued when the order is redelivered to us, minus any applicable return transit costs. 

Limited Liability Disclaimer

Sidewinder Computer Systems Inc. (Sidewinder Computers) shall not be held responsible or liable for (1) any damages incurred, incidental or consequential, while using our products, including but not limited to loss of income, savings or profit, or loss of electronic data or records, (2) third-party claims filed against the purchaser, or (3) damage to products during shipment or lost or misdirected shipments.

Use our products at your own risk! If you are unsure how to install something correctly, contact us first. We can't help you if we don't know there is a problem. Any and all liability by us is valid for no more than the current market value of the goods sold by us.

We reserve the right to make changes or updates to our site, including adjustments for typographical errors or for product specification clarifications, without notice.
