| Panasonic Panaflo Fans by NMB-MAT |
Sidewinder Computers has such a wide selection of Panaflo fans it was appropriate
they be given their own subsection. Currently available from 80 to 120mm sizes,
Panaflo fans feature some of the best CFM to dB ratios when compared to other
standard fan offerings.
Features
- Locked rotor protection circuits
- Automatically restarts in a few seconds
- Reverse voltage protection
- Uses a mass termination style for connecting LED wires, allowing for easy interchangeability
from 3-pin to 3+4 or 4-pin connections
- Panaflo's unique Hydrowave bearing (HWB) technology addresses the
traditional weakness of sleeve bearings - axial friction. By utilizing this
system, the thrust plate "floats" on a circulating film of oil,
which greatly reduces axial friction and the bearing's deterioration.
- BX models offer Tachometer output for RPM monitoring

Note: Some customers have taken note that the current label on some of our Panasonic parts state "NMB-MAT" (Minebea / Matsushita) rather than "Panasonic / Panaflo". We have confirmed there are no performance differences between these two parts, the hydrobearing technology is still present, the fan material
is identical and no other physical or functionality changes have been made. This label change is simply Panasonic outsourcing its fan production to
Minebea, who according to Minebea sources, have always been the manufacturer of
this fan line.
